In Peru and Bolivia, thousands of children grow up in contexts of multidimensional poverty that limit their opportunities for development and learning. During the Christmas season, these gaps are accentuated, since many families do not have the resources to offer moments of celebration or to prepare the start of the school year. This situation directly affects emotional well-being, motivation and child self-esteem, making their academic process difficult and conditioning their future development in highly vulnerable environments.
