Communities in northeastern Cauca in Colombia suffer the consequences of armed conflict, causing them to live in poverty. This vulnerable situations, along with the ignorance of the market and the lack of organization and production planning makes indigenous women encounter great difficulties in selling their crafts. For many of these women, their products suppose its own income with which to support their families and meet their basic needs.
