Aura Fundación offers these people the necessary support throughout their working life: initial training for the youngest people, pre-employment training for those who are already about to enter the open labor market and continuous training for active people, to keep their jobs and achieve new job goals.
For this purpose, AURA contacts ordinary companies and finds job positions to be filled by people with Intellectual Disabilities.
It offers users and companies support throughout their working life, guaranteeing that they are successful insertions. At the beginning it is more intensive, during the internship the candidate is accompanied by a job coach and psychologist who helps them to acquire all the necessary skills to develop the job and helps the company in the inclusion of this person on their teams. When she is hired by the company, she continues to support herself, but in a more timely manner.
With this support, it is achieved that people with intellectual disabilities can develop their professional careers in standardized companies and are active members of society, with their duties and rights, within standardized environments.
