To improve training and employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions by closing the digital divide.
Fundació TRESC works for the social and labor inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions in Girona. The organization provides the necessary support so that every individual can access decent work and lead an independent life within their community.
This project utilizes the "Supported Employment" methodology, an effective strategy that accompanies the individual through every stage: from preparation and active search to workplace adaptation within the mainstream labor market. For this inclusion to be real and lasting, training in digital skills has become an essential tool in today’s world.
Through this campaign, the organization will be equipped with modern technology to conduct vocational guidance and professional training workshops. Access to digital tools not only expands job opportunities but also ensures that the individuals supported can participate effectively and on equal terms in the labor market.
Digital equipment acquisition: Purchase of 20 Chromebook laptops dedicated to training.
Active search workshops: Use of the equipment for job hunting and application management.
Digital skills training: Actions aimed at improving personal and professional skills through ICT (Information and Communication Technologies).
Vocational guidance: Personalized support to identify career aspirations, interests, and professional competencies.
The campaign will directly impact more than 20 people of working age with intellectual disabilities or mental health conditions. As a shared and reusable resource for various training workshops, the impact will multiply over time, benefiting new participants in successive years and facilitating their path toward autonomy.
